This design is commonly used for creating privacy in residential areas. In this design, boards are placed on alternating sides of the central rail, creating an overlapping pattern that looks the same on both sides. This style is among the most comprehensive to build. This design allows for a breeze to pass through the fence, but provides a view for anyone looking through the fence at an angle. It's best used in areas where complete privacy is not expected or around the perimeter of your property.
